Create an Abstract
Here we are going to create a nice looking abstract.
Step 2: Press "d" to reset your color.
Now go to Filter> Render> Clouds and then Filter> Render> Difference Clouds.
Step 3: Duplicate your background layer. Go to Filter> Artist> Color Pencil and use these settings:
Step 4: Duplicate a layer. Go to Filter> Distort> Twirl and use these settings:
Step 5: Again duplicate a layer. Go to Filter> Distort> Twirt at -266 and again go to Filter> Distort> Twirl at -266.
Step 6: Set mode to overlay and duplicate layer.
Step 7: In this step go to Filter> Blur> Motion Blur and use these settings:
Step 8: Set mode to Overlay. Go to Image> Adjustment> Hue/Saturation or press Ctrl+U and use these settings:

People need tutorials for this? Open photoshop, apply filters! Also what exactly is 'an Abstract'?

Some people may be just beginning with Photoshop, so yes, they would need a tutorial for this. You ask if people would need a tutorial like this then ask what an abstract is...brilliant.
