Drawing from a Photo

We will learn how to create drawing from a photo.

Step 1: Open an image.

Step 2: Duplicate the layer by pressing Ctrl+J.
Go to Image> Adjustments> Curves or press Ctrl+M and apply these settings:

Step 3: Go to Filter> Artistic> Poster Edges and apply these settings:

Step 4: Go to Image> Adjustments> Brightness/Contrast and use these settings:

Step 5: Duplicate the layer and go to Image> Adjustments> Threshold and use these settings:

Step 6: Go to Filter> Blur> Gaussian Blur and apply these setting:

Step 7: Go to Filter> Artistic> Cutout and apply these settings:

Step 8: Set the layer blending mode to 'Soft Light'.
