iPod ad Photo Effects

This photoshop tutorial will show you how to create iPod ad Photo Effects.
Let's Start!

Step 1:
Find some suitable pictures in which you can visualize the person as only a filled object. Their pose will still need to be distinguishable without any color or details so be careful which photos you choose.



Step 2:
Select the Pen Tool. In the options bar, be sure the Paths button is selected in the top left of the screen. I realize the Pen Tool may be new to some of you. However, I feel its the most accurate way to draw and select images in Photoshop. It may be difficult at first to learn but it is well worth the time spent.



Step 3:
Trace around the person to create a silhouette image.



Step 4:
Once you've done this, create a new layer. Then move over to the Paths palette. Set your foreground color to black and click on the path to make it active. Finally, press the Fill Path with Foreground Color button at the bottom of the Paths palette.





Step 5:
Next, create a new layer below the one with your silhouette image on it and fill it with a bright color. I used R:0 G:255 B:12



Step 6:
There you have it. Instant iPod ad.
